| By Car: The Cherry Pit is only half a block off the West Side Highway. Coming north, turn right on Bank Street. On your left, you'll see a courtyard. The Cherry Pit is at the back of the courtyard. Start looking for a place to park or park in the lot at | By Subway: Take the A,C or E to 14th Street. Walk south on 8th Ave. (it turns into Hudson); turn right on Bank Street. Walk west until you see The New School's bright red banner. Just past that is a courtyard and at the back of the courtyard is The Cherry Pit. | By Bus: Take the M14 bus west on 14th Street and get off at 10th Avenue. Walk south to Bank Street and turn left. Look for the courtyard on your left. The Cherry Pit is at the back of the courtyard. Take the M20 bus north on Hudson Street. Get off at the corner of Hudson and Bank Street (there's a lovely playground there). Walk two-and-a-half blocks west and you'll see a courtyard on your right.
